Who it is for
The CMD/DW is for teams whose search area does not stop at the water’s edge: naval and coast guard units, port and harbour security, police dive units and clearance teams working flooded terrain. It is certified from dry ground to fresh or salt water down to 100 m, so one detector covers the beach, the shallows and the dive.
CMD/DW or CMD?
The CMD is not certified for diving. The CMD/DW is its amphibious counterpart, certified to 100 m depth and weighing 800 g under water.

No. CEIA’s automatic soil compensation gives optimum sensitivity without manual calibration.
