What makes theme park screening different

Most guests arrive in the first hours, and a slow checkpoint becomes a queue back to the car park.
Guests carry a day’s kit
Families arrive with bags, pushchairs, water and sun cream. Bag searches and trays slow every lane.

A dense crowd waiting outside the gate is harder to protect than a crowd moving through it.

Every OPENGATE unit can be monitored and managed centrally with CEIA NetID Anywhere. The right mix of lanes comes out of a site survey of your entrance plaza and arrival profile.
Built for outdoor gates. OPENGATE is rated IP54 for indoor and outdoor use in rain and strong sun, runs up to 14 hours on battery and sets up in under a minute. Lanes can stand as close as 0.6 m apart.
Tested in the UK. CEIA OPENGATE has been tested to the UK Discriminative Metal Detection Systems Test Method (October 2020), with NPSA-reviewed results available on request.

Frequently asked
Do guests need to open bags or remove items?
With OPENGATE, guests walk through with their bags at normal pace. With a walk-through detector, guests keep belts, coins, keys and watches on, and bags are checked separately.
How many lanes do we need?
It depends on your arrival profile at opening time. We size the lanes during a site survey of your entrance.
Can OPENGATE work outdoors in the Gulf summer?
Yes. It is rated IP54 for indoor and outdoor use, including exposure to rain and strong sun.
Can we add lanes for the peak season only?
Yes. Walk-through detectors and OPENGATE units are available on rental for peak periods and events.
Can we trial it at our gate?
Yes. We hold walk-through, hand-held and OPENGATE units in the UAE for site surveys and live trials.
